Choose the chat where the friendship happens
Pick the group where you tell each other about your days, suggest plans and bring back the same jokes. A thread created to book a restaurant can work, but your regular conversation offers more context. Messages from each friend give the portraits something to draw on. A brilliant group name is lovely; a real exchange is what makes it worth reading.
Select the friends you want in the report during creation. Think about the people around your dinner table rather than your whole contact list. Discuss the idea with the group and choose a conversation you feel comfortable revisiting together. If a trip shaped your friendship, its chat could be the right starting point: even the planning has a story to tell.
Give familiar habits a different voice
Michel combines individual portraits, nicknames, commentary and statistics in a magazine-style layout. The numbers describe the imported exchanges; the portraits add his editorial voice. Read the free preview to see the beginning, then unlock the full report. Your group has supplied the conversation. Michel gives it pages instead of another long scroll through WhatsApp.
After dinner, before the explanations
Reveal the report when everyone has settled in. Read a portrait aloud, let its subject respond, then show the group card. Individual cards let the joke continue back in WhatsApp, while the downloadable PDF gives you something to keep after the evening. These are presentation ideas, not a fixed programme. Leave room for the stories your friends will inevitably add.
Follow our export guide and choose Without media. Michel analyses text, not pictures or voice messages. Upload a .txt file or a .zip containing that text; the flow requires at least 300 parseable messages. The public sample shows the format before you choose your own conversation. Prepare the file beforehand so your evening can stay about the people, not the upload.
